As Regional Medical Advisor I, you will turn Novo Nordisk’s national Medical Affairs strategy into local activities that make a real difference in your region of India. You will be the scientific face of Novo Nordisk to diabetes specialists, key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals – sharing evidence and bringing their insights back to internal teams. Your work helps physicians make informed treatment decisions and helps us better support people living with diabetes and related metabolic disorders.

What You’ll Bring

You combine clinical credibility with the ability to turn scientific evidence into practical action. You will need:

• An MD or MBBS degree from a recognised institution.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs.
• A solid understanding of diabetes and related metabolic disorders, and the ability to interpret clinical data and treatment paradigms.
• A proven ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, and to communicate complex scientific information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong clinical judgement and analytical skills, with a track record of planning, executing and following up projects with attention to detail.
• A proactive, collaborative and adaptable mindset, high ethical standards and a firm respect for regulatory requirements and company policies.

Useful, But Not Essential

• Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison or Regional Medical Advisor.
• Direct experience with diabetes products.

What You’ll Do

You will translate medical strategy into measurable progress in your region, acting as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals and to colleagues across Novo Nordisk.

• Implement the national Medical Affairs strategy in your region, turning strategic objectives into measurable local activities and timelines.
• Build and expand evidence-based relationships with key opinion leaders, diabetes specialists and other stakeholders to drive scientific exchange around the Novo Nordisk portfolio.
• Attend scientific meetings and engage with healthcare professionals to capture clinical needs, practice trends and unmet needs – then share timely, actionable insights with cross-functional teams.
• Give medical input to marketing, sales and the brand team on product positioning, clinical data interpretation and label information, anticipating market changes and recommending corrective or preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver scientific training and education for physicians, allied healthcare professionals and internal field and marketing colleagues, ensuring consistent and compliant medical knowledge across the region.
• Carry out all activities in line with local regulations, Novo Nordisk policies and ethical standards for scientific engagement.

Who You’ll Work With

You will join the Medical Affairs team in India, part of International Operations, where colleagues work across markets to serve people around the world and help improve health at scale. Outside Novo Nordisk, your closest partners will be key opinion leaders, diabetes specialists and allied healthcare professionals in your designated region. Inside, you will work closely with marketing, sales, the brand team and field colleagues, as well as the wider Medical and Regulatory organisation. By bringing clinical insights from the field to these teams – and clear, evidence-based medical input back to them – you help everyone move forward with clarity and speed.
