IT Project Manager – AI Transformation (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the next phase of development, rollout, and feature expansion of an energy project.

The enterprise web application is built on the customer's AI platform and integrated with the Data Platform. It replaces legacy Excel-based order tracking with a centralized, real-time source of truth for complex sales orders.

Following the successful baseline release, the project is entering Phase 2, with a focus on introducing advanced AI capabilities and expanding the platform globally.

The Project Manager will own project delivery, governance, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and roadmap execution while ensuring alignment with enterprise IT standards, security requirements, and operational processes.

Your tasks

• Leading end-to-end project delivery in accordance with the customer's IT Gate Model
• Managing project scope, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and timelines using ServiceNow SPM/PPC and standard PPM frameworks
• Driving the Phase 2 roadmap and coordinating the implementation of advanced AI capabilities within the Order Tracker
• Overseeing backend integration activities between the application, AI platform, and Data Platform
• Leading requirements gathering, data mapping, and workflow harmonization for global application expansion
• Coordinating onboarding activities and ensuring consistent processes across new business areas and regions
• Managing cross-functional technical teams, including developers, UI/UX designers, solution architects, data engineers, and external strategic vendors
• Looking after release management, deployment gates, operational handovers, and transition to support teams
• Ensuring clear RACI ownership across Application Managers, Application Owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders
• Managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensuring compliance with ITGC, ICoFR, cybersecurity, and enterprise governance requirements
• Seeing IAM integration activities and ensuring appropriate access management throughout the project
• Monitoring project performance and communicating progress, risks, and key decisions to senior stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within complex enterprise environments
• Proven experience with end-to-end project delivery, governance, scope, budget, resources, and timelines
• Solid knowledge of Project Portfolio Management and IT governance frameworks
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SPM/PPC or comparable PPM tools
• Experience managing AI, digital transformation, data, or enterprise application projects
• Strong understanding of release management, deployment processes, operational handover, and RACI frameworks
• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and external strategic vendors
• Good knowledge of requirements management, data mapping, workflow design, and system integration
• Knowledge of risk, issue, dependency, and change management
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, ITGC, ICoFR, IAM, and enterprise compliance requirements
• Fluent English - minimum B2 level

Nice to have

• Previous work in the energy, manufacturing, power systems, high-voltage utilities, or industrial sectors
• Knowledge of industrial order management and complex sales-order processes
• Exposure to SAP SD/MM, Databricks, or Power BI data pipelines
• Experience managing projects involving enterprise AI platforms or AI-enabled business applications
• Familiarity with MS Project, Microsoft Planner, ServiceNow, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, or Power BI
• Knowledge of data platforms, analytics, and AI-driven process transformation
