Role Description The Web Developer Intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and features for Weskill’s online platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with front-end interfaces, contributing to back-end functionality, testing and debugging code, and collaborating with mentors to implement best practices in web development. The intern will also help improve user experience and performance, document technical work, and participate in code reviews and team discussions. This is a remote internship role, offering flexible collaboration with the development team and opportunities for learning and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Design to build user-friendly, responsive interfaces.
- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming to support server-side logic and database interactions.
- Candidates should possess skills in general Web Development to integrate front-end and back-end components into cohesive applications.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with at least one modern framework or library (such as React, Vue, or Angular) is beneficial.
- Understanding of version control tools (such as Git) and ability to follow clean coding and documentation practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, willingness to learn, and capacity to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
