About the role

For most businesses, the website is the first handshake with a customer. When it loads fast, looks sharp and works properly, people trust the brand before they have spoken to anyone. As a Web Developer Intern at Crossing Infotech, you will help build and maintain the websites our clients depend on, from a fresh WordPress site to a custom feature added to an existing one.

This is a hands-on, full-time remote internship for people who like building things that go live and can be opened by anyone with a link.

What you will do

• Build and update business websites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Customise WordPress themes and set up plugins to match client needs
• Write small PHP functions for forms, custom features and integrations
• Turn approved design layouts into working, responsive pages
• Fix bugs, broken layouts and display issues across browsers and devices
• Improve website speed through image optimisation and cleaner code
• Handle basic SEO setup such as page titles, meta descriptions and clean URLs
• Share progress in daily check-ins and weekly review sessions

What we are looking for

• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of PHP or hands-on experience with WordPress
• Familiarity with responsive design and browser developer tools
• Knowledge of MySQL, Elementor or Bootstrap is a plus, not a must
• Comfort using Git or willingness to learn it quickly
• Attention to detail and a habit of testing your work before sharing it
• A stable laptop and reliable internet connection for full-time remote work

• Self-taught developers who can show their skills through a live website, portfolio or GitHub profile
• Anyone available to work full-time for the internship duration
