Warehouse In- Charge

IRP systems are developing the next generation of high-performance e-powertrain systems that will change the electric vehicles market. We are seeking for an experienced Warehouse In-charge in Bangalore (India).

You’ll be responsible for the following

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations with the warehouse service provider

Inbound Operations

• Manage end-to-end inbound activities including material unloading, receiving, documentation, system transactions, and GRN processing.
• Ensure receiving activities are completed accurately and within defined timelines.
• Monitor supplier compliance with respect to:
• On-time delivery
• Material condition and packaging
• Quantity and part-number accuracy
• Complete and accurate documentation
• Monitor put-away cycle time from dock receipt to final storage location.
• Ensure materials are stored at designated locations with proper identification and traceability.
• Handle local purchases and related administrative activities, including documentation, receipt, verification, and system updates.

Inventory Management

• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through systematic controls and regular cycle counts.
• Monitor physical inventory against ERP/system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization through effective storage planning and location management.
• Control inventory shrinkage, loss, damage, and material deterioration.
• Ensure proper identification, segregation, and handling of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, rejected materials, and other inventory.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed wherever applicable.

Outbound Operations & Order Fulfilment

• Manage end-to-end outbound operations including order processing, picking, packing, staging, and shipment.
• Ensure high order-picking accuracy and minimize picking/dispatch errors.
• Monitor order fulfilment lead time and ensure orders are processed within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure on-time shipping.
• Ensure all dispatch documentation is complete and accurate.
• Track and resolve shipment-related issues and delays.

Cost & Productivity Control

• Monitor and control warehouse operating costs, including cost per order/shipment.
• Track manpower productivity and optimize workforce utilization.
• Monitor productivity metrics such as shipments/orders handled per labour hour.
• Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising service levels.
• Work with the warehouse service provider to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes.
• Safety, Compliance & Equipment Management
• Ensure compliance with all applicable warehouse safety procedures, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor and improve warehouse safety performance, including reduction of workplace incidents.
• Ensure proper material handling practices and safe movement/storage of materials.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and available for operations.
• Monitor equipment upkeep, preventive maintenance, and timely repair.
• Conduct regular safety and housekeeping checks and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and 5S-compliant warehouse environment.
