Virtualization & Infrastructure Engineer

• Administer and maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Manage and support Nutanix infrastructure, including cluster administration, upgrades, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco UCS servers, fabric interconnects, and associated hardware components.
• Perform infrastructure provisioning, system upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle management.
• Manage virtual machine deployments, migrations, backups, and disaster recovery activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, utilization, and proactively resolve issues.
• Implement and maintain high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity solutions.
• Troubleshoot virtualization, compute, storage, and network-related incidents.
• Collaborate with application, database, network, and security teams to support project implementations.
• Maintain infrastructure security, compliance, and access control standards.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, or scripting tools.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and infrastructure reports.
• Participate in on-call support and provide timely resolution for critical production issues.
