Overview

Tyche Softwares builds some of the most trusted plugins in the WooCommerce ecosystem, and we need someone who can make software look as good as it works.

We're looking for a Video Editor & Graphic Designer who thinks like a designer first. Most of your work will be 2D motion graphics and design: turning plugin features, product updates, and technical ideas into visuals that people instantly understand and want to click on.

You'll own a wide range of creative output, from short-form videos and ad creatives to carousels and polished UI showcase images. You'll have real creative freedom. We care about the result, and we trust you to find the best way to get there.

What You Will Do

Motion & Video

• Create 2D motion graphics and animated explainers that break down plugin features clearly and engagingly
• Edit and produce short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn video) and longer product and promotional videos for YouTube
• Script, storyboard, and plan video concepts together with the marketing team
• Animate UI walkthroughs, feature highlights, and launch announcements for new releases, including AI-powered features
• Design & Static Creatives
• Design social media posts and multi-slide carousels for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
• Create wireframe-style and polished UI showcase images that present plugin screens and features in a clean, premium way
• Produce ad creatives for paid campaigns (including Meta retargeting ads) and resize them across formats and placements
• Design WordPress.org plugin banners, icons, and other marketplace assets
• Support website, landing page, and email campaigns with visual assets when needed
• Systems & Workflow
• Maintain and evolve our visual style guide and reusable design templates so everything stays consistent across dozens of plugins
• Manage multiple projects at once and track them through our production workflow
• Optimize every asset for the platform it lives on (aspect ratios, safe zones, captions, hooks, file sizes)
• Keep up with trends in motion design, short-form content, and AI tools, and bring new ideas to the team
• Must Haves
• 2+ years of professional experience in video editing and 2D motion graphics
• Strong design sense. You understand typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and spacing, and it shows in your motion work
• Ability to take a technical feature and turn it into a simple, compelling visual story
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator
• Solid understanding of social media platforms, short-form video best practices, and ad formats
• Comfortable working independently in a remote team across time zones, with clear communication and ownership
• Strong attention to detail and good time management

Good to Have

• Experience with AI tools for video, image, and design workflows
• Experience designing for SaaS, software, or tech products (UI mockups, product visuals)
• Familiarity with WordPress or WooCommerce
• Basic copywriting skills for hooks, captions, and on-screen text
• Understanding of performance marketing and how creatives affect CTR and conversions
• Sound design and basic audio editing skills
• Lottie or SVG animation experience
