Valuations - Fixed Asset (Land, Building and P&M)

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Asset Valuation (Land, Building and P&M) Specialist with 7–10 years of relevant valuation experience. The role involves leading and managing valuation engagements across diverse industries for financial reporting, transactions, insurance, lending, restructuring, and strategic decision-making purposes. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in valuing industrial assets, real estate, infrastructure, and manufacturing facilities, and be capable of independently managing end-to-end valuation assignments, including site inspections, valuation analysis, report preparation, client interactions, and quality reviews. A strong understanding of Ind AS, IFRS, IVS, RICS, and IBBI valuation standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end Fixed Asset valuation engagements across diverse sectors including manufacturing, energy, chemicals, mining, and infrastructure.
• Provide guidance and supervision to team members conducting site inspections to assess asset existence, condition, utilization, maintenance history, and operating environment.
• Develop and review comprehensive valuation models, ensuring quality control over work performed by junior team members.
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, effectively coordinating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Mentor, train, and develop junior team members to strengthen technical capabilities within the team.
• Oversee fair value assessments in connection with:
• Purchase Price Allocation (Ind AS 103/IFRS 3)
• Impairment testing (Ind AS 36/IAS 36)
• Useful life and residual value evaluations (Ind AS 16/IAS 16)
• Address and resolve queries raised by clients and auditors in a timely and professional manner.
• Drive project management activities, including timeline tracking, scope management, and deliverable quality, ensuring strict adherence to engagement protocols and standards.

Skills required

• Good command over MS Excel and other office tools
• Exposure in using AI tools such as Chat GPT, Copilot etc.
• Good communication skills
