Required Qualifications

• Graduate (Civil) - 10+ years in formation design and execution of railway / highway

Key Responsibilities

• Formation Design Review & Quality Assurance: Review, audit, and approve engineering drawings, cross-sections, and design calculations for the railway subgrade, embankment slopes, cuttings, and the blanket layer to ensure technical compliance with RDSO guidelines.
• Earthwork & Execution Supervision: Oversee day-to-day site execution of earthworks, monitoring soil compaction, material blending, moisture content, and the laying of granular blanket layers to prevent subgrade failure.
• Drainage & Track Alignment Management: Design and inspect cross-drainage structures, side drains, and catch-water drains to guarantee efficient water shedding away from the track bed, maintaining long-term stability.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Progress Reporting: Interface regularly with South Central Railway (SCR) officials, contractors, and internal CEG teams to track project milestones, resolve site bottlenecks, and ensure smooth railway traffic operations during line integration.
