Technical Application Representative

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Application Representative to support customers, distributors and the Sales team through technical application support, product demonstrations, application trials, troubleshooting and dosing system support.

This is a field-based, customer-facing role requiring extensive Pan-India travel. Training will be provided on Seitz products, professional cleaning, laundry and textile-care applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support to customers and distributors.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and application trials.
• Assist with dosing pump installation, calibration and troubleshooting.
• Support Sales teams during technical customer discussions.
• Understand customer requirements and support suitable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot basic product/application-related issues.
• Prepare customer visit, trial and technical reports.
• Maintain customer and activity records in Odoo CRM.
• Coordinate with Sales, R&D, Production, Quality and Service teams.
• Develop knowledge of Seitz products and professional cleaning/hygiene applications.

What We Are Looking For

• Graduation is mandatory; Chemical/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related technical background preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in Technical Sales, Technical Application, Application Support, Sales or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Basic understanding of chemistry and chemical handling.
• Understanding of pH, acidity/alkalinity, dilution, concentration and basic dosing calculations.
• Basic understanding of surfactants, formulations and water hardness/quality.
• Ability to understand basic process parameters such as temperature, time and mechanical action.
• Good technical problem-solving and application troubleshooting skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Comfortable with 100% Pan-India travel.
• Strong learning attitude and customer-handling skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in cleaning, hygiene, laundry, textile-care or chemical industries.
• Experience with dosing pumps, dispensing systems or industrial equipment.
• Experience in product demonstrations, application trials or technical troubleshooting.
• CRM/ERP experience.
• Two-wheeler/personal vehicle access.

Note: Detailed laundry-chemical or Seitz product knowledge is not mandatory. Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
