Team Member - Cell Design

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop lithium-ion battery cells for energy storage and EV applications.
• Optimize cell architecture, electrode design, and material selection to improve energy density, power density, cycle life, and safety.
• Perform electrochemical modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D, process engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams for cell development and scale-up.
• Analyze cell performance through testing, validation, and failure analysis.
• Develop Design Verification Plans (DVP) and support qualification testing.
• Evaluate new battery materials, technologies, and cell chemistries.
• Drive continuous improvement in cell performance, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Support pilot production and technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and product specifications.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Energy Engineering, or related field.
