Systems / Test Lead & Shenzhen Build Owner | CTC Upto 50-70 LPA

We’re building a new generation of intelligent recreational machines across water, sand, and low air. We’re starting with water, where existing operators and infrastructure allow us to bring these experiences to market quickly.

Role Description

This is a full-time Systems / Test Lead & Shenzhen Build Owner role working directly with the Founder.

You will own system integration, the Proto 1 test program, and the Shenzhen prototype build — taking the vehicle from components and CAD through assembly, testing, and free hover.

The role will involve approximately 40% time in Shenzhen during Proto 1, followed by primarily in-house integration and testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems, mechatronics, or vehicle integration.
• Experience taking a physical vehicle or complex system from design through real-world testing.
• Experience with 350–400 V battery systems, motors, ESCs, contactors, HVIL, and harnesses.
• Experience with marine electrical systems, waterjets, or similar propulsion systems.
• Strong understanding of IP67 sealing, water ingress, and salt environments.
• Experience running structured prototype and vehicle test programs.
• Experience managing overseas suppliers or manufacturing partners.
• Mandarin is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Own integration across motors, ESCs, battery pack, waterjet, harnesses, contactors, HVIL, and charging.
• Own Shenzhen build scope, schedule, supplier coordination, and quality.
• Run the full test sequence: bench → static water → tethered hover → tethered sway → free hover.
• Own thrust-stand, electrical-safety, salt, flood, and sealing tests.
• Coordinate final assembly, instrumentation, and prototype handoff.

Key Results / KRAs

• Thrust stand achieves required hover and peak performance.
• Reserve contactor remains closed through the validation set.
• Sealed systems pass salt and flood testing.
• Shenzhen first article delivered and accepted on time.
• Proto 1 successfully progresses through free hover.
• One trained operator can safely run Proto 1 with a shore kill.
