Sr. Manager

Role Summary

Lead end‑to‑end IMFL bottling operations, driving production efficiency, quality compliance, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee bottling line planning, capacity utilization, and OEE improvement initiatives.
• Manage shift schedules, manpower planning, and contractor workforce to meet production targets.
• Ensure product quality, GMP, 5S, and excise compliance through robust QC and documentation.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, RM/PM planning, and downtime reduction strategies.
• Drive cost‑control measures, inventory optimization, and dispatch planning with warehouse teams.
• Lead new line installation, commissioning, and continuous process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Conduct root cause analysis, corrective actions, and KPI monitoring with MIS reporting.
• Interface with cross‑functional groups (Quality, Maintenance, Excise, Warehouse, HR) for seamless operations.
• Ensure statutory and internal audit compliance, including safety and environmental standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in IMFL bottling or beverage manufacturing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of improving OEE, reducing downtime, and managing capacity across multiple lines.
• Hands‑on experience with RM/PM planning, inventory control, and dispatch coordination.
• Strong knowledge of direct & indirect tax (Income Tax, TDS, VAT) and excise regulations applicable to manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, conduct performance management, and develop talent.
• Desired Skills
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in ERP/MIS tools for production planning and KPI reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across functions.
• Strong focus on safety, GMP, 5S, and audit readiness.

Reporting & Working Conditions

• Reports to: xxxxx (Senior Operations Head).
• Works in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with occasional off‑site visits to suppliers or regulatory bodies.

Key Performance Indicators

• OEE & line productivity, downtime (hrs), production cost per litre, inventory turnover, compliance audit scores, safety incident rate.
