Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud Security Engineer - 3P)

Role Summary

Seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong expertise in cloud security architecture, governance, and security program execution. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical SME capable of driving cloud security strategy, implementing enterprise security controls, and partnering with engineering teams to secure Azure-based and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud security initiatives, governance programs, and security transformation efforts across enterprise cloud platforms.
• Design and implement secure cloud architectures aligned with Zero Trust and industry security best practices.
• Develop and enforce cloud security guardrails using Azure Policy, security baselines, and governance frameworks.
• Implement and maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities to continuously improve cloud security posture.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices using Terraform and cloud automation technologies.
• Partner with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Application teams to embed security into cloud platforms, services, and delivery pipelines.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure security, cloud architecture, and enterprise cloud governance.
• Deep experience with CSPM platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or equivalent solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Policy, RBAC, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, and cloud-native security controls.
• Experience securing cloud workloads, networking, containers, Kubernetes, storage, and platform services.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and DevSecOps principles.
• Proven ability to lead cloud security programs, drive technical strategy, and influence security outcomes across large-scale enterprise environments.
