About the role

- CI/CD Pipeline: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments, code testing, etc. Should have strong experience in Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Automation: Develop scripts and pipelines to automate routine operational tasks, system troubleshooting, deployments, and other repetitive activities.
- Monitoring and Logging: Track software/application performance, implement monitoring solutions, and set up alerts to identify bottlenecks, production errors, and minimize downtime. Should have strong experience in monitoring/logging/alerting tools like OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Data-prepper, Fluent-bit, PagerDuty.
- AWS Cloud: Should be able to deploy, maintain, and optimize AWS deployments. Should have exposure to AWS tools for DevOps.
- Application Deployment: Work closely with development teams to deploy and manage Node.js applications across development, staging, and production environments.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Containerize Node.js applications using Docker and deploy/manage applications using Kubernetes.
- Performance & Troubleshooting: Analyze application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot Node.js/backend issues, identify bottlenecks, and contribute to improving application reliability and availability.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Individual Contribution: Able to individually contribute to deliver automated deployments, application monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and alerting systems.
- Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform.
- (Good to have) Backend Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications using Node.js/.NET. Build and integrate RESTful APIs, handle application logic, and troubleshoot backend issues.
