CMT is looking for a collaborative and hands-on Software Engineer I, Cloud to join our Data & Platform group and contribute to the shared engineering capabilities used across CMT.

• In this role, you’ll use your foundational experience with Python, APIs, and SQL to build and maintain backend services, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver reliable software while learning from experienced engineers.
• This is a great opportunity for early-career engineers with around 1 year of software engineering experience; candidates with 6+ months of relevant internship experience may also be considered. Exposure to AWS, Docker, CI/CD, or cloud-based development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively on a team
• Comfortable performing general development tasks in a Linux environment
• Some professional software engineering experience preferred
• Exposure to languages such as Python, Swift, or Kotlin
• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker
• Understanding of web application development (HTTP REST backend, React frontend)

Qualifications
