About the role

Strong software is built on strong fundamentals: clear logic, clean code and the patience to find out why something broke. As a Software Developer Intern at Crossing Infotech, you will write, test and improve code that real users depend on. You will work inside a real development workflow, with code reviews, bug reports and feature requests, and learn how professional teams build software together.

This is a hands-on, full-time remote internship for people who enjoy programming and want to grow into dependable engineers.

What you will do

• Develop new features and improvements under the guidance of senior developers
• Write clean, readable and well-structured code in a language such as Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript
• Debug reported issues, find the root cause and fix them properly
• Write simple unit tests to check that your code works as expected
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve practical problems efficiently
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, branching and pull requests
• Write short documentation so teammates can understand and reuse your work
• Share progress in daily check-ins and weekly review sessions

What we are looking for

• Working knowledge of at least one programming language
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms (arrays, lists, stacks, queues, trees, sorting)
• Basic idea of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with Git is a plus
• Knowledge of databases or APIs is a plus, not a must
• A logical mindset and the habit of asking good questions when stuck
• A stable laptop and reliable internet connection for full-time remote work

• Self-taught developers who can show their skills through a GitHub profile, coding practice profile or personal project
• Anyone available to work full-time for the internship duration
