Role: Senior Statistician/Senior Data Scientist

Required Skills
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in statistical data analysis.
- Strong understanding of statistics: distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, non-parametric methods, DoE is a plus.
- Proficient in Python: pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, seaborn.
- Good knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, filtering).
- Experience in predictive modeling using scikit-learn (classification and/or regression models).
- Ability to translate complex statistical outputs into simple, meaningful insights.
- Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and clear communication.
- Ability to work independently in long-term research-oriented projects.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-have)
- Experience with cosmetic, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or scientific datasets.
- Experience with scikit-learn (for basic ML models).
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple variable groups.
- Understanding of sensory, instrumental or formulation data (big plus).
Education
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
