Key Responsibilities

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including

• Compute & Orchestration: AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions
• Storage & Data Services: Amazon S3, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue
• Databases: Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL)
• Messaging & Eventing: Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon EventBridge
• Security & Secrets Management: AWS Secrets Manager, IAM (least-privilege access principles)
• Notifications & Email Services: Amazon SES
• Monitoring & Observability: Amazon CloudWatch (logs, metrics, alarms, and alerting)

Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining event-driven and serverless architectures.

Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, performance optimization, and cost management in AWS environments.

Hands-on Experience With Infrastructure As Code (IaC), Specifically

• AWS CDK (TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go)

Ability to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC best practices.

Experience managing multiple environments (Development, Staging, and Production) through automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages:

• Python
• Node.js
• Java

Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.

Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, deployment, and release automation.

Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using Amazon CloudWatch.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform production issue diagnosis, root cause analysis, and remediation.

Experience with Spring Boot for building scalable backend services.

Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

Experience using AI-assisted or AI-driven software development tools (e.g., Kiro or similar platforms).

Experience practicing specification-driven development, where system behavior and requirements are defined prior to implementation.

Experience designing, developing, and maintaining MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.

Demonstrated experience using AWS AI/ML services such as Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, and AgentCore.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

4-7 years of software development experience.

3+ years developing cloud-native applications.

Experience building, deploying, and supporting production applications in cloud environments.
