The projects in hand

The firm designs, builds and operates sewage-treatment plants, effluent-treatment systems and municipal solid-waste facilities for municipal bodies and industrial customers. It has a dozen live projects, a few of them above fifty crore in contract value, and has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Senior Project Manager to run its largest ones. What you would own

• End-to-end delivery of two or three major plants, from design freeze through procurement, civil works, equipment installation, commissioning and handover
• Client and consultant interface, including approvals, inspections, variation orders and billing milestones
• Planning and monitoring with Primavera or MS Project, and a monthly cost and progress report to the director
• Coordination of civil, mechanical and electrical subcontractors, and of the in-house design team
• Safety and statutory compliance on site, including pollution-control approvals
• How the role fits

You report to the director of projects and guide two or three assistant project managers. You are the person the client calls when something goes wrong, and the person the site team calls before it does.

What we are looking for

• 7 to 11 years of project management in water, wastewater, environmental or industrial EPC work
• Proven delivery of at least one project of meaningful size through commissioning
• A sound understanding of contracts, claims and subcontractor management
• A civil, mechanical or environmental engineering degree; PMP is a plus
• Process HR Screening, Assignment, Technical Round, Directors Round 1, Directors Round 2, Culture Fit. One application also counts for later matched roles.
