We are looking for a CAD Engineer with hands-on experience in starter motor design and development to join our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX
- Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Create and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation
- Work on starter motor components such as Armature, Housing, Yoke, Brush Holder, Planetary Gear Assemblies and Solenoid Parts
- Support prototype development, validation builds and drawing modifications based on test feedback
- Follow engineering change management and product development processes
- Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in CAD design and detailing
- Experience in Automotive Starter Motors, Alternators or Electromechanical Products preferred
- Strong proficiency in Siemens NX / Unigraphics NX
- Knowledge of PLM Windchill and CATIA
- Good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and tolerance stack-up
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including Sheet Metal, Machining, Die Casting and Assembly
- Understanding of automotive product development and engineering change management
