Role Description The Robotics Intern role at Weskill is a remote internship focused on supporting robotics and automation-related training and projects. Interns will assist in designing, testing, and refining robotics concepts, simulations, or prototypes under the guidance of experienced mentors. Day-to-day tasks may include contributing to process automation workflows, documenting mechatronic systems, researching emerging robotics technologies, and preparing instructional materials for learners. The intern will collaborate with technical and training teams, participate in virtual meetings, and help ensure that robotics content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Robotics and Robot systems, including basic design, configuration, or simulation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Automation and Process Automation, with an understanding of workflow optimization.
- Candidates should possess skills in Mechatronics, integrating mechanical, electronic, and control components.
- Foundational knowledge of programming or control systems (e.g., Python, C/C++, PLCs) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently in a remote environment, and collaborate in virtual teams.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
