Quality Specialist

Job Description

We are excited to welcome a Quality Specialist to our team, who will play a vital role in upholding our company's commitment to quality. The specialist will be responsible for conducting thorough quality assessments on various documentation, ensuring compliance with internal practices. With a strong understanding of operational procedures, the specialist will identify process improvement opportunities. Additionally, they will provide technical assistance, perform witness activities during testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any non-conformances. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Review source documents, such as material test records, to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Monitor and resolve outstanding record issues, ensuring timely and efficient follow-ups.
• Perform tasks with exceptional accuracy, minimizing errors to meet the highest quality standards.
• Raise non-conformances for non-compliant assemblies, ensuring adherence to BOM, GAD, and testing requirements.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis for non-conformances during tests, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Perform witness activities for testing, coordinating with TPI and customer representatives as needed.
• Review and write FAT, test procedures, and prepare test report formats for new products.
• Ensure understanding and calibration of required IMMD equipment for new products.
• Respond to and coordinate documentation changes, tracking and managing requests effectively.
• Provide record support for internal and external requests, including scanning and providing electronic copies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, with a strong understanding of operational procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and minimize errors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and tools, such as Oracle (ERP) system.
• Good understanding of engineering specifications and quality standards, including API, ISO, and ASTM.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate cross-functionally.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant productivity software.
