JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES OF MANAGER - QUALITY

Department : Quality

Position : Manager/Incharge

Reporting To : General Manager

Dress Code : Specified Uniform / Formals with ID Card

Duty Hrs : As per schedule intimated from time to time.

The Responsibilities Of The Quality Manager Include The Following

• Responsible for developing and implementing standardized process for administration
• Responsible for effective coordinating and conducting training events and workshops
• Responsible for coordinating with the consultants in developing and documenting the Quality Management Systems in the form of Manuals, departmental procedures and work instructions
• Training on BLS/ACLS/ALSO to various Hospital staff i, e Nurses, Paramedics, Registrars & Consultants
• Collection, coordination of Quality indicators from various departments and take corrective & preventive measures based on Quality Indicators
• Surprise visit or Internal Audit of documentation of various departments includes Kitchen, Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, H.K & Security etc.
• Reporting of 12 mandatory Quality Indicators to Medical Director on quarterly basis as per prescribed format by NABH.
• Organizing the various Committee meeting & updating of MOM accordingly
• Conducting the various Mock drills as per schedule prepared.
• Developing the Training modules &Training calendar with coordination of various HOD’s /HR .
• Coordinating the training session to all the departmental staff in general hospital wide policies and their respective departmental policies.
• Active case sheets audit to be done regularly and identify the deficiencies.
• Monitoring of Death, MLC & DAMA case sheet audit on monthly basis.
• Monitoring as per PNDT guidelines Nil report is submitted from the desk of respective departments having U/S machine
• Documentation, filling of documents in the respective files, implementation, monitoring of NABH process.
• Responsible for developing and implementing standardized process for administration.
• Responsible for effective coordinating and conducting events and workshops.
• Developing and implementing policies and process for administrative procedures.
• Assisting in ensuring hospital operate efficiently and provide adequate medical care to patients.
• Collection of Quality Indicators from various departments.
• Documentation, filing of documents in the respective files, implementation, monitoring of NABH process.
• Coordinating with all the department for smooth functioning of the hospitals.
• Any other work assigned by the Management from time to time.
