BMC Helix is looking for a QA Engineer to join a QE team working on complex and distributed software, developing test plans, executing tests, building automation, and ensuring overall product quality.

• Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC Helix's and your own success:
• Perform automation deployments and execute all automation suites.
• Perform automation failure analysis and raise issues accordingly.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate deployment and automation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality testing and complete automation coverage.
• To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
• 1-2+ years of experience in a Software QA role (preferably with Cypress/Playwright).
• Experience testing large-scale distributed enterprise applications and platform services.
• Strong understanding of Jenkins and scripting (Groovy/Shell).
• Operating System knowledge, preferably Linux.
• Ability to write scripts for quality automation systems and implement components within different automation pipelines.
• Self-driven learner, proactive team player, and comfortable collaborating with global teams.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• While these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following areas:
• Containers/Docker
• Kubernetes
• Git
• JIRA
• Databases (preferably PostgreSQL/MySQL)

At HELIX we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,180,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of HELIX's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
