Role - QA Engineer – API & Banking Applications

• Role: QA Engineer – Manual & API Testing

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Backend Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
• Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, headers, JSON/XML, request and response validation.
• Knowledge of API authentication and authorization mechanisms such as API Key, Basic Auth, Bearer Token, JWT, and OAuth.
• Experience in testing banking, fintech, payment gateway, or financial applications.
• Good understanding of payment gateway integration, transaction flows, callbacks/webhooks, failures, refunds, and reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including joins, subqueries, aggregate functions, data validation, and SQL indexing.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
• Ability to create test scenarios, test cases, identify defects, perform retesting, and support defect resolution.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with an understanding of STLC and defect life cycle.
