QA Automation Engineer

• Proficient in Java with strong object‑oriented design principles
• Automation expertise with Selenium WebDriver (Web)
• Hands‑on API testing and automation using Postman & Rest Assured (Java)
• Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber/Gherkin
• Framework design using Page Object Model and Data‑Driven patterns
• Unit testing with TestNG or JUnit
• Version control using Git/GitHub (comfortable with Git Bash)
• Build & dependency management with Maven; IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse
• CI/CD pipeline integration with Jenkins
• Defect & test management using JIRA and TestRail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

QA Automation Engineer

**Location / Schedule:*

• Hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

Role Overview

• Entry-level SDET focusing on expanding automated regression coverage for embedded media devices under the guidance of Senior/Lead engineers.
• Develop and execute automated tests (REST, Java, Selenium, Postman) following detailed user stories
• Write clear, maintainable test cases for APIs, feature toggles, and UI workflows
• Collect logs, reproduce issues, and document defects with precise STR & diagnostics
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Continuously learn streaming fundamentals, Wi-Fi debugging, and device-side logging
