Role

The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful technical delivery of mining equipment solutions by coordinating engineering activities and aligning standardized products with project-specific requirements. This role serves as a critical link between Product Business Line and project execution, ensuring that engineering deliverables meet customer expectations, quality standards, and schedule commitments. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with strong technical acumen, project coordination experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously (10+), ensuring timely and high-quality technical delivery.
• Act as the primary technical interface between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Review project specifications and sales order documents to define scope, engineering objectives, and deliverables.
• Adapt standardized mining products and solutions to meet project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering activities to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Manage and resolve technical queries, deviations, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement activities by providing technical evaluations, vendor clarifications, and documentation.
• Make independent decisions with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with project scope.
• Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels and with global teams.

Required Qualifications

• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering principles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mining equipment, bulk material handling, or heavy industrial systems.
• Familiarity with global project execution and working across diverse cultures and regions.
• Experience with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com).
• Demonstrated experience supporting procurement and vendor management processes.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.

Education Qualification

Postgraduate Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering from a reputed university or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in project engineering, project execution, or project management.
