Process/Quality Engineer

Monitor manufacturing quality and process performance

As NKT’s resident technical representative at a strategic supplier facility, you will oversee manufacturing activities, verify compliance with specifications, and support quality assurance processes. You will work closely with supplier and NKT teams to ensure products are manufactured according to approved processes, quality plans, and customer requirements while supporting efficient production and delivery performance.

• Your Responsibility Will Be To
• Monitor daily cable manufacturing activities and critical production processes
• Verify machine settings, process parameters, and work instructions
• Ensure compliance with NKT specifications, quality plans, and industry standards
• Investigate quality deviations and support corrective actions using structured methodologies
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement activities while monitoring manufacturing KPIs

This is a resident position based at a supplier manufacturing facility in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, India. You will report to the relevant NKT function and collaborate closely with supplier and cross-functional teams. Limited travel is required.

You value continuous improvement and take a structured approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• You Also Have
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or quality engineering
• Experience within cable manufacturing or related industrial environments
• Knowledge of quality management systems, SPC, process capability, FMEA, and root cause analysis
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification Contribute to greener infrastructure and global growth
