Position Overview
This role sits within the company's Data & Analytics team and is central to building its enterprise Microsoft Copilot capability. The engineer will administer the Copilot ecosystem, partner with business stakeholders to identify and configure practical AI agents and workflows, and maintain governance and documentation standards that keep solutions dependable. Work is delivered within a defined three-tier engineering model, with escalation paths to a Mid-Level AI Engineer and Senior Data Scientist for complex integrations or architecture decisions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio environments, including licensing, access, connectors, and environment configurations
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand workflows, identify suitable Copilot use cases, and configure agents and workflows iteratively based on user feedback
- Coordinate pilot testing, user acceptance testing, training sessions, and release communications for new Copilot solutions
- Provide post-deployment support to help business teams adopt solutions safely and effectively
- Maintain governance records including agent inventories, configuration documentation, approval evidence, access reviews, and deployment checklists
- Track Copilot usage, service health, and incidents; resolve routine issues and escalate complex integration, security, or architecture matters to senior engineers
- Capture stakeholder feedback to continuously improve existing agents and workflows, and automate repeatable administrative tasks
- Must Have Criteria
- 1–3 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, low-code development, business systems support, IT support, or a related technical role (substantial internships or a strong practical portfolio accepted)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, including environments, connectors, users, groups, and permissions management
- Demonstrated ability to translate a defined business process into a simple agent or workflow
- Ability to configure approved data connections, test expected behaviours, and produce clear solution documentation
- Foundational understanding of least privilege, data privacy, access reviews, audit trails, and change control practices
Nice to Have
- Hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, or Snowflake administration
- Experience with service management, ticketing, monitoring, or cloud cost-management tools
- Entry-level certification in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, security, or Snowflake
