Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules from pre-construction through project execution.
• Prepare baseline programmes, recovery schedules, progress updates, and look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate closely with project, commercial, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project milestones.
• Analyze project performance, identify delays and risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support claims, extension of time submissions, and schedule-related commercial matters.
• Track progress and provide accurate reporting to project stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4+ years of planning/scheduling experience in construction projects.
• Extensive hands-on experience using Primavera P6 is required.
• Proven experience handling large-scale, complex projects such as:
• Data Centers
• Hospitals
• Infrastructure Projects
• Industrial or Mission-Critical Facilities
• Strong experience in planning and scheduling for both CSA and MEP works.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, resource planning, progress measurement, and risk management.
• Experience in developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules, cash flow forecasts, and manpower histograms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
