About the Opportunity

SkillzenLoop is hiring Pharmacy Assistant Interns for freshers and entry-level candidates from pharmacy and life science backgrounds who want to learn how a pharmacy runs behind the counter. This is a remote, learning-based internship. It does not involve dispensing medicines or handling patients. The focus is on inventory records, medicine documentation, stock control and compliance basics.

This role suits candidates who want to build a career in pharmacy operations, healthcare supply, inventory management or pharmacy documentation.

Role Overview

As a Pharmacy Assistant Intern, you will work on structured record-keeping assignments under the guidance of experienced team members. You will learn how stock is tracked, how expiry is monitored, and how accurate documentation protects both patients and pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study medicine categories, generic and brand names, dosage forms and storage requirements
  • Learn the basics of medication management, including labelling, expiry tracking and safe handling
  • Maintain stock registers, reorder lists and expiry alerts in Excel or pharmacy software
  • Prepare purchase records, sales records and daily pharmacy documentation
  • Learn record-keeping rules for prescription and regulated medicines
  • Check records for mismatches, missing entries and near-expiry stock, and flag them early
  • Prepare simple inventory and operations reports for the team
  • Follow patient privacy and confidentiality practices
  • Who Can Apply
  • Freshers, entry-level candidates, or students pursuing or completing D.Pharm, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, M.Pharm, B.Sc or M.Sc in Life Sciences, Chemistry or Biotechnology
  • Candidates from related allied health streams interested in pharmacy operations
  • Self-driven learners comfortable with structured remote work
  • Candidates available to work full-time for the internship period

  • Basic knowledge of pharmacology, medicine names and pharmacy practice
  • Awareness of storage, expiry and safety guidelines for medicines
  • Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets for records and inventory tracking
  • Accuracy, responsibility and attention to detail

  • A laptop and a stable internet connection for remote work

  • Familiarity with pharmacy management software
  • Exposure to a retail or hospital pharmacy through training or an internship
  • Awareness of Drugs and Cosmetics Act record-keeping basics
