PGT Chemistry Teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for classes 11 and 12 as per the NCERT and state board curricula.
• Design and implement practical laboratory sessions, ensuring safety protocols and hands‑on learning for all students.
• Develop and evaluate formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Mentor students for competitive exams (e.g., JEE, NEET) and guide them in project work and science fairs.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and school-wide initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and laboratory inventory.
• Participate in staff development programs, parent‑teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.
• Essential Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a recognized teacher‑training certification.
• Eligibility for teaching at the senior secondary level as per the regulations of the Madhya Pradesh State Education Board.
• Clear teaching eligibility certificate (e.g., TET, CTET) or equivalent.

Desired Experience

• At least 2–4 years of teaching experience in Chemistry at the senior secondary level (Classes 11‑12).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct laboratory experiments and manage a well‑equipped chemistry lab.
• Experience in coaching students for national level entrance examinations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
