Job title: Quality Control Officer

The role

As a Quality Control Officer, you will help drive our goals by:

• Perform routine analytical tests on raw materials, in process and finished products.
• Conduct analysis using techniques such as ICP, pH meter, conductivity meter etc.
• Record test data accurately. Update in SAP after review.
• Maintain proper documentation as per GMP, ISO and internal SOP’s.
• Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of analytical instruments, Identify report any non-conformance or OOS results.
• Raise NCPR on time.
• Adhere to GLP, safety protocols and data integrity standards.
• Follow IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18000) guidelines. Maintaining & review of SOP’s, records.
• Aware of IMS Policy, QEHS Objectives, environmental aspects and OH&S hazards related to own area of work and the available control measures against it.
• Understand and comply with applicable Environment, Health and Safety, Process safety risk management policies and procedures
• Understand and comply with Chemical storage, compatibility and handling hazards, Safety Data sheets and exposure.
• Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
• Strong technical expertise in analytical techniques and instrumentation
• Good understanding of regulatory and quality requirements (ISO)
• Exposure to ERP – SAP system
• Reasonably good written and verbal communication
• Computer proficiency in excel / word.

Required Qualification and Experience

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in chemistry
• Minimum 3 Years of experience in a chemical /pharmaceutical QC laboratory
