About The Department
The Communication Services team delivers secure and reliable global communications infrastructure for Franklin Templeton. Network engineers, infrastructure specialists, operations teams, and application partners work together to support business-critical connectivity, drive network modernization, and expand automation capabilities. The team fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while providing opportunities to work with advanced technologies and large-scale transformation initiatives.
How You Will Add Value?
Core Responsibilities
- You will manage global voice and data network services.
- You will deploy and support network infrastructure solutions.
- You will perform testing and release activities.
- You will support network operations and incident response.
- You will resolve complex network issues.
- You will implement network security controls.
- You will improve network reliability and availability.
Strategic Responsibilities
- You will develop automation solutions across network services.
- You will improve operational efficiency through automation.
- You will ensure compliance with governance requirements.
- You will drive resolution of recurring network problems.
- You will manage network enhancement projects.
- You will support infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- You will recommend improvements to tools and practices.
Team & Collaboration
- You will create operational documentation and procedures.
- You will mentor and train network engineers.
- You will collaborate with infrastructure and application teams.
- You will identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
- You will support change and configuration management.
- You will participate in on-call support rotations.

Experience
- Experience managing enterprise network environments.
- Experience with WAN, LAN, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Experience supporting public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience deploying and supporting network platforms.
- Experience operating in 24x7 environments.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure platforms.
- Financial services industry experience preferred.
Technical Skills
- SD-WAN and Catalyst SD-WAN technologies.
- OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
- Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortinet security platforms.
- Linux and Windows operating systems.
- SIP trunking and voice technologies.
- Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Network automation and infrastructure management.
Soft Skills
