About the Internship

What You’ll Do

• Learn the fundamentals of medical coding and healthcare documentation.
• Review healthcare-related information and supporting documentation under appropriate supervision.
• Develop familiarity with medical terminology and coding concepts.
• Assist with organizing and categorizing healthcare information.
• Practice identifying relevant information from medical documentation.
• Maintain accuracy while working with structured healthcare records.
• Assist with basic quality checks and documentation review.
• Follow established processes for handling healthcare information.
• Maintain organized coding-related records and work trackers.
• Participate in learning activities related to healthcare billing and coding workflows.
• What We’re Looking For
• Interest in Medical Coding and Healthcare Operations.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to understand and organize written information.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.
• Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, or related educational background is helpful.
• Good communication and willingness to learn.
