Broad outline of the Role

• Participate in various stages of supply chain processes, in area of procurement/vendor management/logistics/ inventory/quality management to ensure timely response to customer RFP's; drive cost optimization, quality management and timely execution of orders to supplier. This is an direct procurement role with direct impact on the achievement of results for projects undertaken as per business requirements.
• Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor Degree in engineering or business or equivalent qualification
• 7-12 years of experience in supply chain or material management roles
• Other Knowledge & Skills
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with Internal stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
• Expertise in delivering results under ambiguous situation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review procurement volumes by vendor and product class or type, thereby, identify areas for Rate Contracts or Frame Contracts, and finalize the same.
• Engage with internal user teams for understanding requirements of customer RFP and deals.
• Collaborate with key persons internally and external to bring the best commercial position.
• Managing sourcing and procurement
• Work with vendors or Planning team
• Review global logistics structure to make sure they run smoothly.
• Analyze data, identify bottlenecks and other issues.
• Manage procurement negotiations.
• Ensure vendor compliance to Supply Management Policy and Procedures
