Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Scheduling
- Develop detailed project schedules for electrical works using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Prepare WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and activity-wise project plans.
- Establish project baselines and monitor schedule adherence.
- Develop micro-level execution plans for electrical systems and associated packages.
- Identify critical path activities and propose mitigation measures for delays.
Monitoring & Progress Tracking
- Track project progress against baseline schedules.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor productivity, resource utilization, and construction milestones.
- Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with site teams for progress updates and schedule compliance.
Coordination & Interface Management
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Civil, Mechanical, C&I, and Execution teams.
- Monitor material availability against project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely execution.
- Facilitate project review meetings and follow-up on action items.
Resource Planning
- Prepare manpower deployment plans.
- Monitor equipment and resource utilization.
- Identify resource constraints and recommend optimization measures.
- Support project management in budget forecasting and resource planning.
Project Controls & Reporting
- Generate MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
- Prepare S-Curve, look-ahead schedules, and project performance reports.
- Monitor project KPIs related to schedule, manpower, and productivity.
- Maintain planning databases and project documentation.
Risk & Recovery Planning
- Perform schedule risk assessments.
- Prepare catch-up and recovery schedules as required.
- Analyze bottlenecks impacting project execution.
- Recommend strategies to minimize project delays and improve efficiency.
