A Day in the Life

As a Brand Activation Manager for Garnier, you will be the driving force behind one of the world's most iconic and sustainable beauty brands in the dynamic Indian retail market. You will join a vibrant team and play a pivotal role in shaping Garnier's offline retail activation strategy, translating green beauty into immersive shopper experiences, and bringing our sustainable beauty innovations to life for millions of consumers across the country.

In This Role, You Will

  • Work closely with marketing, retail, and key account teams to define clear objectives per retailer and channel, creating bespoke trade marketing plans that are impactful, customer-centric, and ensure flawless in-store execution.
  • Translate consumer and shopper insights into cohesive 360-degree retail activation plans that align with Garnier’s local brand strategy and champion its "Green Beauty" identity.
  • Coordinate with retail design teams to develop permanent and temporary point-of-sale materials (PLV), promotional displays, and visual merchandising strategies to achieve sales and market share targets.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with retailers and Key Account Managers to keep the brand front-of-mind, identify new trading opportunities, and continuously innovate the in-store consumer experience.
  • Manage sampling and gift-with-purchase (GWP) initiatives to support new product launches and drive the growth of our hero product portfolios.
  • Measure, track, and report on the effectiveness of all activation campaigns to capture key learnings, optimize operational efficiencies, and maximize ROI on marketing investments.
  • Monitor and refine trade marketing processes to better link commercial and marketing activities while maintaining rigorous control over the activation network budget.
  • We Are Looking For

Required

We are looking for a marketing-savvy professional with a strong eye for design, aesthetics, and meticulous attention to detail. Someone with a creative flair for translating shopper insights into highly engaging, physical brand activations will thrive in this role. A resilient team player who is process-driven, highly organized in managing budgets, and comfortable navigating complexity under pressure is a perfect fit. A candidate with 5-6 years of relevant experience is required, with prior experience in lifestyle brands, luxury brands, or the FMCG industry being highly advantageous. You’re a great match for this role if you have:

  • Trade Marketing & Activation: Proven experience executing high-impact offline trade activation plans and managing 360-degree campaign budgets.
  • Retailer & Stakeholder Relations: Excellent relationship-building skills to collaborate with Key Account Managers, Retail Design, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
  • Consumer & Shopper Insights: The ability to convert market and competitor intelligence into highly engaging, personalized consumer touchpoints.
  • Project & Process Management: Strong project and time management skills, with a methodical approach to tracking campaigns, managing sampling initiatives, and coordinating point-of-sale production.
  • Brand Stewardship: A deep understanding of brand codes to maintain message consistency across diverse, multi-retailer environments.
