To ensure business continuity within the Fleet Operations Management Applications team following an internal transition, we are seeking a Lead QA Engineer in India to drive testing excellence for the RACE initiative. This senior-level role is critical to maintaining the high quality and reliability of our digital products and software application engineering solutions. To address these business aims, this role focuses on QA leadership and mentorship, test strategy and execution excellence, and continuous process improvement. These areas directly support our goal of delivering robust software applications through structured testing methodologies and comprehensive documentation. Given the focus on quality leadership and technical test execution, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software test engineering, hands-on test automation, and proven capability in guiding QA teams.

• Guide and mentor QA team members to ensure high-quality test execution and professional growth
• Foster thorough test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution reports
• Coordinate QA activities across the team to align with sprint goals and RACE initiative timelines
• 30% Test Strategy, Automation & Execution
• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, mobile and server applications
• Execute comprehensive test suites (functional, regression, integration, and performance) with excellence
• Ensure strict alignment of testing processes with software engineering standards and product requirements
• 30% Quality Improvement & Collaboration
• Drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies, tools, and QA processes
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects
• Analyze test results and quality metrics to identify risks and suggest proactive mitigation strategies

Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level (CTAL)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline
• 6-8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a proven track record of leading or mentoring QA teams
• Strong experience in test automation, agile methodologies, and test lifecycle management within a product development environment
