About the role

Company Description

We are an AI stealth startup building sports entertainment 2.0 using physical AI.

We’re creating a new generation of action-adventure machines across water, sand, and low air — combining hardware, controls, and intelligence to make experiences once limited to pilots and athletes accessible to everyone.

We’re starting with water, with the larger vision of turning rides into games, games into leagues, and destinations into stadiums.

Role Description

This is a full-time Lead Mechanical / Aero Engineer role working directly with the Founder. You will own the mechanical architecture of the first prototype, from CAD and lightweight structural design through manufacturing and physical testing.

You will work closely with manufacturing partners in Shenzhen and take the vehicle from design to first article and validation.

  • Experience designing against aggressive mass targets, ideally below 200 kg.
  • Hands-on experience with prototype manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to Shenzhen. Mandarin is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the hull, fan ducts, pitch cradle, vanes, seat, impact structure, foam, and sealed battery bay.
  • Maintain the vehicle mass budget with a 160 kg target / 180 kg hard stop.
  • Release factory-ready CAD, drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing packages.
  • Work with Shenzhen suppliers through tooling, first article, and acceptance.
  • Own drop, float, and structural validation testing.

Key Results / KRAs

  • Empty mass ≤180 kg.
  • Hardware fan kill ≤100 ms.
  • Peak landing load ≤12 g.
  • Shenzhen first article meets agreed drawings and tolerances.
  • Proto 1 passes the full test sequence.
