About the role

Banks, insurers, airlines and large retailers still run much of their business on Java, and the developers who understand it well are always in demand. As a Java Developer Intern at Crossing Infotech, you will learn how enterprise-grade software is built, from clean object-oriented design to services that talk to a database. You will work on real modules, get your code reviewed and see how professional teams keep large applications stable.

This is a hands-on, full-time remote internship for people who enjoy structured programming and want a strong foundation in one of the most trusted technologies in the industry.

What you will do

• Write clean, well-structured Java code using object-oriented principles
• Build and test simple REST services using Spring Boot
• Connect applications to MySQL databases using JDBC or JPA and Hibernate
• Work with collections, exception handling and multithreading basics in real tasks
• Debug and improve existing modules under the guidance of senior developers
• Write unit tests using JUnit to check that your code behaves correctly
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and take part in code reviews
• Share progress in daily check-ins and weekly review sessions

What we are looking for

• Good understanding of core Java and object-oriented programming (classes, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with the Collections framework and exception handling
• Exposure to Spring Boot is a plus, not a must
• Knowledge of Maven or Gradle, Postman and Git is a plus
• Patience for debugging and curiosity about how good software is designed
• A stable laptop and reliable internet connection for full-time remote work

• Anyone available to work full-time for the internship duration
