India Procurement Manager

Your Job

We are seeking an India Procurement Manager based in Bangalore to lead the India Procurement team and enable high-quality procurement, sourcing, and contracting support for corporate offices and businesses. This leader will develop procurement capability, strengthen supplier and business partnerships, and help transform processes, technology, and ways of working to create long-term value.

Our Team

The India Procurement team partners across businesses and functions, working with business leaders, category managers, product teams, technology teams, data and analytics, and other enabling functions. The team supports procurement, sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement SMEs and buyers, strengthening leadership capability, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Lead India and regional procurement teams with a strong service-delivery mindset while collaborating effectively across the global organization.
• Shape procurement strategy by evaluating market trends, identifying value and cost-saving opportunities, and strengthening supplier relationships.
• Provide leadership across supplier selection, contract negotiation, supplier performance, compliance, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Oversee contract administration and help develop the team's capability in contract lifecycle management, risk assessment, and compliance.
• Partner with business leaders as a trusted procurement advisor, understanding business objectives, commercial considerations, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Procure-to-Pay, product, technology, data and analytics, and other enabling teams to align technology, process, and organizational roadmaps.
• Champion continuous transformation by challenging existing approaches, evaluating developments in procurement technology and processes, and applying an outside-in perspective.
• Improve procurement effectiveness by embedding lean thinking and identifying innovative opportunities to strengthen processes, skills, and tools.
• Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Experience leading professional buying or procurement teams.
• Experience procuring from the Indian market.
• Procurement and sourcing leadership experience within a global organization.
• What Will Put You Ahead
• Advanced degree or diploma in Supply Chain or Materials Management.
• Experience leading procurement or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience with procurement and workflow platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, or ServiceNow.
• Experience applying commercial and financial judgment to complex procurement decisions and supplier relationships.
