About the opportunity

Medinex Workforce is offering a Healthcare Data Analyst Internship for freshers and entry-level candidates interested in healthcare analytics, data quality, reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence.

The internship provides practical exposure to working with structured healthcare-related datasets and operational information. Interns will support data preparation, analysis, visualization, reporting, and quality checks while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and data-handling practices.

This role focuses on healthcare data analysis and reporting and does not involve clinical diagnosis, medical decision-making, or providing medical advice.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and validate assigned healthcare-related datasets.
• Clean and prepare data for analysis using Excel and other approved tools.
• Write basic SQL queries to retrieve and analyze structured data.
• Prepare recurring healthcare operations and performance reports.
• Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
• Identify trends, patterns, and data-quality issues.
• Perform basic data reconciliation and validation checks.
• Assist with KPI tracking and reporting.
• Compare datasets and investigate discrepancies under supervision.
• Prepare charts, summaries, and presentations for internal reporting.
• Maintain clear documentation of analysis methods and findings.
