Role Overview

As a Healthcare Data Analyst Intern, you will work on structured reporting assignments under the guidance of experienced team members. You will learn how healthcare data is organised, how analysts track volumes, costs and turnaround times, and how accurate reporting supports better decisions in a sector where mistakes matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and organise healthcare-style datasets such as patient visit records, billing data, lab data and pharmacy data
• Write SQL queries to extract the exact data needed for each report
• Build dashboards and reports in Excel, Power BI or Looker Studio
• Track trends in case volumes, costs, turnaround times and operational performance
• Check data for errors, duplicates and missing values before it is reported
• Work only with anonymised or approved data and follow data privacy practices
• Write short summaries that explain findings to non-technical teams
• Document queries and reports so others can reuse them
