Why this role exists

Medinex Workforce works with hospitals, labs and clinics, and these organisations produce a steady stream of data: patient visits, test volumes, billing records, turnaround times. Most of it sits unused. As a Health Data Reporting Intern, you will turn that data into clear reports that show what is working, what is slowing things down and where costs can be reduced. You will work with healthcare-style datasets and learn how analysts support better decisions in a sector where accuracy matters.

• Your day-to-day
• Clean and organise healthcare-style datasets such as visit records, billing data and lab or pharmacy data
• Write SQL queries to extract the exact data needed for each report
• Build dashboards and reports in Excel, Power BI or Looker Studio
• Track trends in case volumes, costs, turnaround times and operational performance
• Check data for errors, duplicates and missing values before it is reported
• Work only with anonymised or approved data and follow data privacy practices
• Write short summaries that explain findings in plain language to non-technical teams
• You are a good fit if
• You use Excel well (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, charts)
• You know basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, filters)
• You are interested in healthcare, life sciences or hospital operations
• You are analytical and pay close attention to detail
• You treat data as confidential
• You have a laptop and a stable internet connection for full-time remote work
• Nice to have, not required
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or Python
• Understanding of medical terms or healthcare processes
• A dashboard or analysis project you built on your own

Who can apply

• Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Pharm, D.Pharm, Pharm.D, B.Sc or M.Sc (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Statistics), BHM, MHA, B.Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA or related streams
• Self-taught learners who can show their skills through a dashboard, project or certificate
• Freshers are welcome, and prior work experience is not required
• You must be available to work full-time for the internship period
