About the role

About the role

Koyō is an AI-native hiring platform. Recruiting software today is slow, ugly, and hated by the people forced to use it daily; we're building the replacement. We're early — small team, real customers, and almost no one knows we exist yet.

That last part is your job. As our first marketing hire you'll own how Koyō sounds and where it shows up: LinkedIn, cold email, and whatever else you can argue for. You'll write a lot, ship fast, and see your work in market within days rather than quarters. You'll work directly with the founding team.

What You'll Work On

  • Work with Product to turn new features and user wins into shareable content
  • Plan and test post formats such as demos, recruiter pain-point stories, product updates, carousels, and short videos
  • Find and connect with the right audience: recruiters, HR heads, founders, and talent leaders
  • Grow Koyo's LinkedIn company page and founder profiles through consistent, high-quality content
  • Track reach, engagement, profile visits, and demo sign-ups, and learn what actually converts

You Might Be a Great Fit If

  • You're a student or recent graduate in any field, with a strong interest in growth or marketing
  • You write clearly and can explain ideas in a simple, engaging way
  • You like looking at numbers and turning them into decisions
  • You're comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel

Nice to have

  • A LinkedIn profile or personal brand where you've grown an audience
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Canva, or scheduling tools
  • Basic understanding of B2B marketing or HR tech
  • Past work in content, community, or social media growth

What You'll Gain

  • Real experience building a B2B brand on LinkedIn from scratch
  • Regular mentorship from [Head of Growth / Founder]
  • Ownership of experiments tied to real signups and pipeline
