Golang Developer

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Go (Golang) Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of overall software engineering experience, with substantial hands-on experience building production-grade services in Go. This role requires someone who can work independently, make sound architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, well-tested software. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Go.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions around system design, scalability, and reliability.
• Build and optimize RESTful/gRPC APIs, ensuring high performance and low latency under production load.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) — schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Integrate services with message queues/event streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) where applicable.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and help improve build, test and deploy automation

Requirements

• 4–6 years of overall software development experience, with at least 2–4 years of hands-on Go development in production environments.
• Strong understanding of Go fundamentals: goroutines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and Go's memory model/concurrency patterns.
• Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with gRPC is a strong plus.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries; exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes) in production settings.
