Join MailerMen as a Generative AI / LLM Engineer in Pune. You will develop AI-powered product features using large language models, covering prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, AI workflows and API integrations. You will start with guided tasks and gradually take ownership of features under senior mentorship. This is a hybrid role anchored to our Pune office, with a mix of in-office and remote days.

• Department: Engineering - Generative AI Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Build RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
• Create AI agents and workflow automations where appropriate.
• Evaluate model quality, latency, cost and reliability.
• Maintain prompt libraries and evaluation datasets.
• Work with frontend and backend teams to ship AI features.
• Develop LLM-powered features for web and business applications.
• Benchmark model providers on quality, latency and cost.
• Learn team tools, coding standards and delivery processes with mentor support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, IT or related field preferred.
• Good to have: FastAPI, Weaviate, Docker, RAG, LlamaIndex, Streamlit
