Why this role exists

Medinex Workforce reads a lot of text every day: resumes, job descriptions, client emails, interview notes. Much of that reading is repetitive, and it is exactly where modern AI tools can help, by summarising a profile, extracting key details from a resume or drafting a first reply. But an AI answer is only useful if it is correct and consistent. As a Generative AI Intern, you will build small AI-powered features and test whether they actually work. You will learn how teams use language models on real business tasks, and how to measure their output instead of trusting it blindly.

Your day-to-day

• Build prototypes using Python and AI APIs, such as resume summarisers, data extractors and simple chatbots
• Write, test and refine prompts to get accurate and reliable outputs
• Evaluate AI answers for accuracy, consistency and bias, and record the results
• Prepare, clean and label sample data used to test the prototypes
• Explore automation ideas such as document summarisation and email drafting
• Document every experiment, prompt and finding so the team can build on it
• Use Git and GitHub for version control
• Share progress in daily check-ins and a weekly review

You are a good fit if

• You know Python well
• You understand basic machine learning ideas such as training, testing and overfitting
• You are curious about how prompts shape the output of language models
• You like experimenting and checking whether an idea really works
• You write down what you tried and what happened
• You have a laptop and a stable internet connection for full-time remote work

Nice to have, not required

• Experience with Pandas, NumPy or Scikit-learn
• Exposure to AI APIs, LangChain, TensorFlow or PyTorch
• A GitHub project, Kaggle notebook or AI experiment you built

Who can apply

• Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS, IT, Maths, Statistics), MCA, M.Sc or related streams
• Self-taught learners who can show their skills through a GitHub project, Kaggle notebook or certificate
• Freshers are welcome, and prior work experience is not required
• You must be available to work full-time for the internship period
